Lindsay’s Bookkeeping Services was formed in January 2012.
Seizing the opportunity to become self employed Lindsay embarked on a training program to gain the qualifications required to provide bookkeeping and payroll services to businesses. The certification program chosen was that of the ICB (Institute of Certified Bookkeepers) which is a recognised institute that promotes and maintains the standards of bookkeeping as a profession through membership levels based on attainment through examination, work experience and competence.
Currently Lindsay has gained the AICB accreditation through the examinations taken, and currently still studying to gain even more qualifications to give her clients complete peace of mind in her capabilities as a bookkeeper and to be able offer more ICB licensed services.
Lindsay is a confident and proficient user of Sage 50 Account Professional and Sage Payroll Professional. As a member of the Sage Accountants Club, Lindsay’s Bookkeeping services uses the most current versions of the Sage software available, ensuring absolute compliance at all times. This also give my clients complete confidence in my ability and the integrity of any Sage data I produce. This is also backed up by a priority link help line and Sage Cover.
From September 2013 Lindsay's Bookkeeping Services was a ICB Licensed Practice. To obtain this status a number of important factors must be in place including adequate qualifications of bookkeeper and Professional Indemnity Insurance. Also, the practice is compliant under the Money Laundering Regulations as we are supervised by the ICB.
We aim to provide an efficient, cost effective, personal bookkeeping, payroll and accounting service to businesses and individuals. We can work on or off site dependant on the needs of the client. Lindsay’s Bookkeeping is looking to expand the client base and is ready to engage with new clients for either bookkeeping or payroll.
